The main focus of CDM 15 is to emphasise client accountability. We must shift away from the mentality of not questioning the client’s decisions and make sure they are fully informed and aware of their responsibilities. Project Four will take charge of the principal designer role to ensure that design risk management and ACM strategy are addressed early on in the project, rather than waiting until stage 5.
