Following our stint at UKREiiF's fringe this year, we knew the conversation was far from over. So what did we do? We got back in touch with our panellists and captured their thoughts in our aptly named Thought Leadership.

The discussion titled "The 28-day myth: Why 28 days isn't really 28 days" looks to explore and dispel the common misconceptions around Safety Case submissions and prove why you can't be complacent assuming you can just get everything together when the time comes to apply. It is a process that should begin as soon as possible, giving you a far better chance at success.

Contributing to the article are:
Ali Palizi FCIAT, Project Four Building Safety Experts Ltd.

Sam Walton, Moda

🚀GATEWAY SUCCESS🚀 Even with the summer holidays i 🚀GATEWAY SUCCESS🚀

Even with the summer holidays in full swing, we're still getting those approvals in!

Recently we were part of Gateway 2 approval success for Cornbrook, working closely with Domis Construction and Forshaw Land & Property Group Ltd.

The residential development, which will be home to 237 residential apartments and 88 aparthotel studios, will take shape across Manchester's ever-growing skyline.

Shoutout to the P4 team who were part of it. Find out more about the scheme below...
The end of another month, and we’ve had some more The end of another month, and we’ve had some more birthdays to celebrate.

Fi, Haley, Mol, and Alan blew out the candles this month, and used their P4 birthday day off to celebrate with their friends and families. Take a look to see what they got up to!

At P4, we know that life comes first, and the birthday day off is just one way we show our team it matters.
You've all heard the saying there's no place like You've all heard the saying there's no place like home; well we've adopted a new one, there's no place like the hive. A few weeks ago, we partnered with our friends at The Hive Youth Zone, Wirral to host "Social Value beyond the tick box: What meaningful social value looks like across property and construction". Now we've taken the time to reflect, we're here with the behind the scenes lookback.

Success is definitely the word for how the morning took hold, as we brought together guests from public, private, and third-party sectors to unite over the same theme: Social Value.

Beginning with an introduction from Hive CEO Jayne Wilson, we then welcomed member Kiara to the stage to share her story about the true impact the Hive has had on her life. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as Kiara proved what belief, a strong unit, and life experiences can do for confidence, esteem, and heart.

Lucy Bridge then came through to discuss what the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority do as part of their own social value strategy, moving away from your typical box-ticking to create lasting impact across the industry. It opened up the discussion on what actually defines social value, and made it clear there's far more to it than meets the eye.

Lucy then passed the mic to Hugh Frost who spoke to the crowd about the King's Dock development, which looks to bring regeneration to the Liverpool waterfront.

We then moved into our panel discussion looking at how Hannah Bailey Louise Jackson Zeniou and Richard Mawdsley, alongside Hugh, use social value to enhance, educate, and provide, for schemes and businesses across the country. The worthwhile slot was the opportunity for questions to be asked, misconceptions to be ironed out, and for social value to truly be at the forefront.

The whole event would not have been possible without the support from The Hive, and the work they do is truly lifechanging for so many children and young people across the region.

Until next time...

One thing that shines through on each and every person we spoke to this month was their answer to ‘Why P4?’ - you may notice this yourself as you take a look through. Everyone said the same one thing, the people.

7 people, from across the company, and across the country, all who have been working here for between 1 and 4 years, and they ALL said the people. That isn’t a coincidence, that’s the reality. Along with the usual stuff that accompanies the interview process, we look for genuine people with passion, and those who want to make a positive contribution to the industry. That’s what makes us special.

The people may be why they choose P4, but there’s still so much to hear about their year. Swipe now to find out.

We are so pleased to announce that we have helped McLaren Property | Living | Regeneration secure a Gateway 2 Approval for their scheme at Wellington Square.

The 46 storey scheme consisting of 464 residential apartments above ground floor, will be the newest addition to the Leeds skyline.

Project Four had multiple roles in this project, taking on BRPD, CDM PD and BSA Client Advisor. Big shoutout to Karen C. Cornejo Steven Sidaway Mark Gray for their work in getting this over the line.

As June nears a close, we are here with the next e As June nears a close, we are here with the next episode in our Life at Project Four series.

For this month, we’ve sat down with Senior Building Safety Consultant Harry Chapman-Eamer, who is nearing his one year anniversary with us.

Everyone who meets Harry comments on his approachability, genuineness, and passion for his role, and he is a true asset to the Project Four team in how he approaches his day-to-day.

A part of the National Team, Harry is always darting here, there, and everywhere on site visits, client meetings, and team days, but he always finds the time to socialise with his family and dog Ovie.

Find out more about Harry here and why he continues to choose Project Four.
Busy workshop mornings in the P4 boardroom, otherw Busy workshop mornings in the P4 boardroom, otherwise (un)officially known as the P4 'war room'.

Workshop 1️⃣ - Site Safety & Audit regroup with the Liverpool PCS team
Workshop 2️⃣ - Marketing workshops with service leads

A space for collaborative thinking, brain dumping, and team get togethers, the boardroom is the perfect place for preparing and banging heads for the week ahead.

During our office refurb, one thing the team asked for was a dedicated meeting space, free from credited bookings and limited availability, somewhere they could greet clients and show off the P4 charm.

Now the team across the country can meet, discuss, and plan to ensure the quality we're known for is retained.
