Today's the day Alan Robson. sets off with OPTIMUS Today's the day Alan Robson. sets off with OPTIMUS FACILITIES to take on the Three Peaks Challenge, in aid of Alder Hey Children's Charity.

As everyone knows by now, Alder Hey is a charity we, and Optimus, have supported for a number of years due to personal connections in the team. The funds raised will go directly to helping families and their loved ones navigating through their time at Alder Hey, whether it be through research, appointments, or stays on the wards.

The team have smashed their £3000 target, but the fundraising doesn't stop there. We all need to keep pushing, as they will need to do over the next 24 hours.

As we return to work after a scorching bank holida As we return to work after a scorching bank holiday weekend, we're back with the next hot topic - our Life at P4 series🔥🔥

This month we introduce you to Shweta Waikar, our Associate Architect, BSA Principal Designer.

You don't hear Shweta without hearing about her grace, kindness, and chef skills that all the team appreciate and love about working with her day-to-day.

Whether it's working on projects of varying size and stature, cooking up a storm for London's monthly harvest table, or simply just being Shweta, we are all so grateful she continues to choose P4, especially after hitting her 2 year anniversary this month.

We spoke to Shweta to find out about her "Life at P4" and beyond.

The most common cause of fatal injuries for 2024/2 The most common cause of fatal injuries for 2024/25, was falls from height, at a staggering 53%. Working at height may be part of the job, but falls certainly shouldn't be.

That's why at Project Four we have always shown strong support for No Falls Week, a week dedicated to education, awareness, and promotion, of how unsafe work environments can impact you for life.

Don't be complacent, it is everyone's responsibility from the ground up to keep things safe.

Because everyone deserves to return home safe from a day's work.

Wow, yesterday was incredible. Thank you to everyo Wow, yesterday was incredible. Thank you to everyone who joined us at both of our exclusive fringe events at this year's UKREiiF.

Running these events alongside the main conference exhibition as independent companies is key to further developing the conversations catalysed by the main UKREiiF event.

With our PAP and Safety Case, and joint drinks event attracting industry professionals from across the UK, we feel it was a hugely successful day.

We have so much to share with you, but for now, take a look at our day-in-the-life, which offers you a snapshot of what we got up to...

This time tomorrow we'll be nearing the end of our This time tomorrow we'll be nearing the end of our exclusive fringe event we are hosting at our sister venue in Avenue HQ East Parade.

With one day to go, it's your last chance to get tickets for "Safety Cases in Practice: Closing the gap between compliance and reality". We as a company have contributed to the UKREiiF scene for a number of years and have always endeavoured to make a positive impact. The event we're hosting this year is very much intended in the same spirit, designed to complement the wider conversations taking place across the next few days.

What questions are we asking this year?
1. WHY do so many safety cases fail?
2. WHAT are our duties as PAP and AP?
3. HOW do successful safety case applications become the norm rather than a minority?

If you're on a similar wavelength and want to find out the answers, come and fit us into your schedule. We promise it'll be worth it.

2 people, 2 work anniversaries, 2 years. Steve an 2 people, 2 work anniversaries, 2 years.

Steve and Shweta joined the team back in May 2024, and have both watched the business grow and evolve in many different ways in that time.

You can clearly see the passion shine through in the work they do, and both are valuable assets to the ever-evolving team.

Steve is described as someone who always looks after the team, making the effort to go for after work costco trips for office refreshments, and keeping on top of being both finance - and fruit! - director. He can often be found chatting in the office about his upcoming gig and travel plans!

Everyone who mentions Shweta, often follows with a remark about how much of a gem she is. Shweta is a genuine soul who strives for high quality and value in everything she does. We're lucky to have her.

We caught up with them both to find out what they've taken from this past year, take a look....

Project Four are supporting Construction Safety We Project Four are supporting Construction Safety Week, a week dedicated to raising awareness about something that seems so simple, but is often the cause of much angst and unanswered questions for many.

Our day-to-day is safety, we live and breathe it. It's not just a tick box to us, it's a way of life. No one should ever have to question if they will return home unscathed. No one.

This week we thank professionals across every sector, and within the P4 team, for keeping us safe, making the call when things aren't right, and ultimately contributing to saving lives, simply by looking out for people.

Because everyone deserves to get home safe after a day's work.
At Project Four, we believe the next generation of At Project Four, we believe the next generation of health & safety professionals are hiding in plain sight. We also believe they deserve the strongest possible start. This is why, alongside our corporate partner The Safety Net Foundation, we want to step up and make that happen.

This May, we’re ready to tune in as P4’s Senior CDM Consultant, Victoria Ellis-Johnson Tech IOSH, is joined by Kev Robins and Ben Pollard FIIRSM, founders of The Safety Net Foundation, for an important conversation about:

1️⃣How the charity is opening doors for young people

2️⃣The impact they’re already having across the industry

3️⃣How all of us can play a role in supporting future talent

The Safety Net Foundation’s mission to invest into, empower, and upskill emerging professionals, is exactly what our sector needs to keep fresh and retain the best talent.

Investing now = strength later.
